Puppy Training

Teddy, Alfie & CharliePuppies learn and develop very quickly – and need guidance to learn the right thing.

Once you bring your pup home you become their new role model, but who guides you when this wriggling, wagging, messy, loving, cheeky, damp little creature moves into your life?

Boredom Busters Dog & Puppy Services can guide you through all you need to know about raising a puppy, even before you've chosen your pup. We want you and your pup to have a happy, healthy long life together so can advise on health, finding a good breeder, and even the breed you choose.

Once puppy comes home, our first mission is to help you through the toilet training process, moving on to other aspects of puppy training such as puppy biting or mouthing, chasing and nipping feet, chewing, puppy socialisation and any other training you might need. We offer training in the form of a puppy training course, or individual puppy training sessions, home boarding and puppy sitting services.

We have been working with puppies and their owners since 2008, fostering two litters of homeless puppies for rescue, and through our dog walking and home boarding services are now looking after adults we helped raise as puppies. Unlike most trainers, we will be able to show you the results of the training we gave these puppies and their owners – some of our first puppies are approaching four years old – just accompany us on any of our walks. You will see it is possible for you to have a well behaved, well-adjusted adult dog, if you are willing to invest in your puppy's future at an early stage.

“I needed a confidence boost, and now feel I can learn to control my puppy even though I had no experience. I found Linda easy to get along with, and understanding of my problems. Importantly, she also had solutions I felt happy to use.”
