Boredom Busters Dog & Puppy Services has created a 5 session puppy training course ready for you and your new puppy. The course is based on real families with real puppies, the answers and solutions for common problems, and training we’ve been asked to provide over the past four years.

As all training is on an individual tuition basis, we can start as soon as you bring your puppy home; The course is designed to start between 8 and 12 weeks, and works best with Sessions 1 & 2 at home a week apart (or less) to set puppy up with the skills they need. Sessions 3 & 4 move out to work in the 'real world' as soon as pup is cleared by the vet to go out. We are able to be very flexible based on your needs, puppy's age and the timing of vaccinations, so don't worry if your pup is older or there is a longer wait for Session 3.

The course covers house training, chewing, barking, mouthing & puppy biting, jumping up, not pulling on the lead, coming back when called, diet, living with children and much more. Please contact us for an information pack.

Session 1 consists of:

• Set up - Living quarters, diet, welfare needs, finding other dog related services, groomers, vets etc, treats, toys, socialising and what it really means.
• House training - How to set up your puppy to give you the best and fastest way to a house trained dog.
• Sleep - How lack of sleep affects your puppy’s behaviour and their ability to learn. How much sleep your puppy really needs.
• Children - How to avoid common problems such as chasing feet. Teaching children how to behave around dogs.
• Chewing - Puppies need to chew, how to prevent destruction.
• Diet - Good foods, bad foods, how to interpret feeding guides and ingredients.
• Barking - How to avoid excessive barking.
• Learning to be alone

If you choose, you could book Session 1 before your puppy comes home, so you can get things right from day one. This is a service you won't find anywhere else and my puppy services are very popular, so if you are waiting for a puppy to be old enough to bring home, or looking for a puppy, please do get in touch as early as you can.
