Puppies intro to Recall
You and your dog deserve the very best chance to learn in a safe environment, and our Puppies and Beginners Dog Training Course gives you the best chance for a successful life with your dog. You will be taught gentle, fair, effective, play & reward based training methods so your dog will be well behaved in public. You will also learn all aspects of responsible dog ownership.
Exercises include, but are not limited to, Sit, Leave, Watch me, Settle (Down/Stay), handling & grooming, loose lead walking, coming when called, manners at entrances/exits.
You will find success in our relaxed, small and friendly classes, and when you've completed the course you and your dog will be presented with a Certificate of Achievement. Our training classes are designed as an eight week long course on a Sunday or Wednesday morning with start dates throughout the year.
Each course includes an induction morning without the dogs where you will learn more about responsible dog ownership and what you will need to bring for each training session. You will also receive a 'welcome pack' full of useful information which we build up each week. You can let me know what you want to gain from the course, and discuss training and chat about your dog with the other owners over a coffee or tea.

You have a choice of three workshops, held approximately once a month, please follow the links for more information:
- Ready Steady Recall for dogs who won't come when called – or will come back... unless there's a squirrel, another dog, a picnic, a cyclist to chase etc.
- Stop Pulling on the Lead It's no fun being dragged down the road, especially if you have a large dog! Even small dogs can strain your back and shoulders. You will be taught using our knowledge of walking hundreds of dogs to find a way that works for you and your dog.
- Puppy Party Training Workshop For puppies of 12 to 26 weeks. Everything you need for a long and happy life with your pup. Two hours of fun for you and pup, educational games, basic exercises, info about your breed, raising a puppy, and a chance to ask questions.
